Query re date field import and Yes/No Option set

description

Hi there

I have be having touble importing a date field and also a Yes/No option set into CRM 2015 using your tool. The import is from Excel. I believe I have formatted the Date field as CRM expects. I was expecting to have to map the picklist/option set fields but was not prompted.

Any tips??

Cheers

Hi Lis,

I have to questions:

YesNo-Option: Are you sure it is a picklist and not just a simple boolean in your customizations?
Date: Would it be possible to get an excel with a sample (one or two anonymized rows), so that I could try it?

Hi Lis,

regarding the Date - I'll release a new version asap, to support datetimes in a better way!

Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter

Thanks for the quick response yes I think you are right it is a Boolean. But still doesn't seem to work?

Yes, it won't. If you do not have too many date-fields, you possibly could unmap them and try it again.
I must develop a fix, which I'll include in a new version. I try to fix it until tommorow. Sorry for that.

Hi Lis,

I solved the issue. Could you please test again and let me know, if it worked for you?
Two things - in your excelsheet, please specify the datetime-columns format to DateTime. Additionally, please go to the mappings again and fill the field Mapping-Format (i.e. dd.MM.yyyy or yyyy-MM-dd hh:ss).

Hope this works for you?

HI Lis,

which values do you have in your excelsheet for the booleanfield? Is it yes and no?
The Integration Tool expects them to be TRUE or FALSE. Please let me know if this helped.

If not, I'd require more informations.

Best regards
Peter

Hi peter

Yes it is a Yes/no Boolean. So if I put True/false in the spreadsheet it will update to Yes/no I'm CRM?
